Terms of Service and Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy and terms of service are in place to offer clarity and state the client and/or participant’s rights in the event of an unexpected cancellation or unforeseen change. The terms below are between Reclaiming Belonging and the registered client and/or course participant. 

Agreements for Individual Sessions, Workshops and Courses

Payment for the Session

Payment is requested prior to or on the date of service. Bank Transfer, PayPal, Stripe or Tikkie payments are accepted with receipts available upon request. Health insurance is not accepted. Clients are responsible for sessions to be paid in full.


Cancellations and Rescheduling

The Cancellation Policy is not a penalty or punishment. It is important that clients do not feel they are being punished when they are charged the Cancellation Policy full rate of the session or course. Cancellations and missed appointments can happen, that is life. In return, clients and/or participants understand that scheduling an appointment or registering for a course is a commitment to a time and space reserved especially for them and the container for their healing journey. 

You have until 24 hours before your appointment to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Sessions cancelled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 24-hour notice are charged the full session rate.

All session appointments made on the basis of sliding scale, “pay what you can” or “by donation” will also be charged at the full standard rate if it is cancelled or missed with insufficient notice.

Payment for missed or late-cancelled sessions will be due prior to being allowed to schedule another session.


Running Late

The appointment is considered in progress during the agreed upon time. Clients running late will not receive additional time. Clients who are running late are asked to send an email (reclaimingbelonging@gmail.com) regarding their delay, if possible. If running later than 30-minutes without notice, the appointment will be considered cancelled without notice and no refunds will be given.

Refunds

Payment for individual sessions will be refunded if cancelled with more than 24 hours of notice.

If a client has purchased a package of sessions and no longer wants to use some of them, a pro-rated refund may be given for the remaining unused sessions.

If a client is not satisfied with the service received during a session, they may discuss their concerns with the practitioner directly, and an appropriate solution will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Disclaimer

As complementary and holistic wellness practitioners, we provide Reiki, sound healing, mindfulness- and nature-based coaching and counselling services to clients in the Netherlands and around the world.

Our healing and guidance services ultimately aims to support and empower you to become your own healer and guide. We see our role as that of education, peer support and compassionate companionship. This is not a clinical mental or physical health service. We are not health care providers. We do not provide diagnosis, assessment or treatment of any mental or physical health conditions. We do not prescribe choices or actions and cannot guarantee any specific results or outcomes. Our services are intended to complement, and never to replace, care by a trained and licensed health care professional in your local jurisdiction.

Liability

Clients acknowledge and agree that they participate in sessions at their own risk.

We see you as a free agent capable of honest self-assessment and responsible choice. This is an invitation to take responsibility for yourself and your experience, including a willingness to speak up about needs, set and maintain appropriate boundaries, and be in active choice to participate or leave a session at any given moment.

We do not accept responsibility or liability for any decisions you make in your life based on any information given, messages received during, or responses to any session.


General Terms

Under unforeseen circumstances, and in the unlikely event that a course, individual session or event needs to be cancelled by the host, any fee or deposit that has paid already will be fully refunded.

If flights/accommodation are required, it is advised that the participant take out insurance when buying tickets, to cover any unlikely event where they would need to cancel attendance.

We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the attendee or client.

Course participants and clients understand that they are responsible for their own personal safety and well-being during attendance.
